TAKING CARE OF OUR PEOPLE DURING COVID-19
Our employee’s, contractors and suppliers safety is always our first priority.
We paused operations in March of 2020 to protect our teams and all who work for us.
Before resuming in-person contact, we undertook a comprehensive safety audit in line with Center for Disease Control guidelines, implementation of new health and safety measures and thorough consultation with our team.
With personal protective equipment, processes and training in place to ensure the safety of our team we felt confident to return to work; our Students know they can trust that we have appropriate processes in place when we are dealing with them; and our Customers can continue to buy our products with the confidence and knowledge that we are taking our responsibilities seriously.
Our Employees
Anybody who is able to work from home continues to do so. For those who have returned to on-site work, we have sourced all necessary safety equipment including hand sanitizer, face masks, and are maintaining a high standard of hygiene.
We are closely monitoring and reviewing the implementation of these new ways of working and will continue to adapt to resolve any issues or reflect current best practice.
Our Customers and Suppliers
It is important to us that businesses that provide us with our supplies and our customers also feel safe and protected when we are visiting on site.
We have introduced steps to minimize any unnecessary contact.
Reopening
In-line with Government guidance we reopened in June 2020 and we believe it is safe to operate on site, both for customers and staff.
Our Community
The Disc Golf Community is important to us and we organized a Covid-19 fundraiser with Scott Stokely vs Ron Convers which provided financial support to families that were hard hit with the first round of mandatory shut down. We have also transitioned to donations to local Special Needs organizations in lieu of Blue Power Adaptive Disc Golf events untill we can safely resume close contact in that .
